Labor
Hey everyone..well labor went well. I did 14 hours of labor then I had a c-section. I was very happy by the time my doctor came in and said it would be over soon. Very painful and I don't think I want to do that anytime soon. Otherwise as you know I was suppose to go in and get induced at 6:30 on wed. morning well my water ended up breaking at 12:45 a.m. and Scott and I got to the hospital by 1:00 a.m. Scott stayed till 7:30 a.m. then went to work he came back just in time for Ethan to come up from the surgery room so he got to see him more than I did that day. Ethan was 6 lbs. 6 1/2 oz 19 in. long and was born at 4:15 p.m on October 13, 2004. We named him Ethan Charled Richter. He is doing well. I stayed in the hospital till saturday october 16th. He was a little jaundice at first and had to be put under lights but by wed. october 20th he was fine and didn't have to wear the light strip. Thank GOSH! Otherwise mom and Ethan are doing well, and I am sure that dad enjoys his little son.

ITS TIME!!!!
Well the big day has come...I have finally dialated to 2!! YEA!!! So the doctor has given my little son an eviction notice and not much of a notice at all. I go in on Wed. October 13 at 6:30 to be induced.(the day just happens to be right inbetween his Aunt Jen's -oct. 12 and his Grandma Richter's-oct. 14 birthdays...how weird) I will end up having him 2 1/2 weeks early since I am not due until October 31. I am excited, but nervous and scared. And I have SOO much to do still around my apartment that I don't know if I will have enough time! But I have been on bedrest for almost 3 weeks and it will be nice to get back into my normal clothes...hopefully! So wish me luck and those of you who are in New Ulm, I hope to see you later that day!
